“Purement PIG” – 48” X 30” – Acrylic and other materials on canvas. After creating my own versions of many owls (more to come) and a few moose, here I am with my first take on a PIG. According to Chinese astrology, the PIG’s main characteristics are honesty and strictness.  Also, PIGS greatly appreciate solitude, freedom and beauty.  Though, they repress intolerance, unfairness and hypocrisy.  That said, don’t we need a PIG in every home?  Background: Pictures and articles of Montreal newspapers, Montreal Metro Map, etc.  Textures: plaster, burlap sack and Diane Bunker’s fabric samples, New Brunswick, Canada

“SAVEUR” – 36” x 24” – Acrylic and other materials on canvas. This custom piece was painted for people who honor Life with a capital « L ». It now enhances the kitchen’s character. In fact, we can identify the label of a Châteauneuf du Pape, a recipe of a French Onion Soup au gratin (SAMSON’s favourite), a mouth, with which we taste and savour many delicious things. « SOLIDE » - 26” X 20” – Acrylic on canvas. This piece reflects a diver’s grace and suppleness. Although, it does not mention the audacity one needs to execute spins and turns that this extreme sport demands. In fact, it is for this reason that this painting was entitled: “SOLIDE”. FRIDA AND HER CAT I

“ FRIDA AND HER CAT ” - 60″ X 48″ – Acrylic, oil and other materials. Numerous trips to Mexico have inspired me to immortalize this iconic individual.  Since Frida cherished animals, I thought of including a cat to the composition without altering the simplicity of the piece.  Therefore, I decided to mount it comfortably on her head.  That way, the character keeps all her due presence and supremacy. Notes: Mexican flag, articles of  Frida’s history in Spanish, burlap sack fabric as texture.
