Considering the colours of the Italian emblem, green, red and white are predominant in this piece. As most of major cities, Montreal ensures also its little Italy. A district close to The Jean-Talon market that makes you “travel” without having to fly for 6 hours. A ‘hood where you can savour the best pasta, pizza and shots of espresso. You can catch a colourful melting pot of Quebecois, English and Italian dialects. Truly, don’t be stunned if you pick up the three lingos in the same breath. Since this work was offered to a new retiree, it was entitled « Le Retraité ».
