This piece reflects a diver’s grace and suppleness. Although, it does not mention the audacity one needs to execute spins and turns that this extreme sport demands. In fact, it is for this reason that this painting was entitled: “SOLIDE”. The SAMSON’s new owner, born in France (see French emblem) is actually a young diver who admires the talented Laura Marino (Lyon Diving Club) and Matthieu Rosset; both members of France National Team (see articles). Our Quebec diver Jennifer Abel is also embodied in this piece with a Montreal newspaper interview. Jennifer’s words: “plus forte, plus solide, plus stable” have evidently inspired the artist on this work’s title.
