LE RECTEUR

THE RECTOR – 15” X 19” – Acrylic and Mixed Media on Wood This portrait features the highest-ranking official of the University of Sherbrooke—but this time, on vacation! Relaxed, he proudly wears a straw hat, a bow tie, and his favorite shirt. Far from ordinary, the shirt reveals newspaper comic strips from the 1940s, adding a historical touch to his look. To enhance the piece, a fabric fragment completes the composition, bringing a subtle and textured element to the artwork.

La Mujer Fuerte

La Mujer Fuerte - 24" x 30" – Acrylic and mixed techniques on wood I present my smallest version of Frida to date. This strong woman (La mujer Fuerte) inspired Mexican women through her art and her life. She explored themes such as gender roles and female independence, remaining an enduring symbol of strength and personal expression.

Le Townshipper

Le Townshipper - 24" x 18" – Acrylic and mixed techniques on wood The sunfish has always been one of my favorite fish since childhood. I’ve always loved its golden-orange colours and shades of green. Between the layers of paint, you’ll find elements like a map of the Eastern Townships, an article from Vélo-mag magazine, some cows, a bicycle registration plate, the St-Hubert Rotisserie logo, and fabric from my mother-in-law used as texture.
