This piece from my AZUL collection honours North Hatley’s Pleasant View beach. It features a vintage photo of the original building, architectural plans for the new one, and a map of Massawippi Lake and the Eastern Townships. Textures include beach pebbles, sand, and jute.
This artwork is part of my AZUL collection and pays tribute to Pleasant View, the municipal beach of North Hatley. Subtly incorporated is a vintage photograph of the original building, which is sadly nearing its end. It also includes architectural plans for the new building set to be constructed soon. You’ll find a vintage map of Lake Massawippi and the Eastern Townships region. The dock of the Bleu Massawippi organization is moored here as well. The texture incorporates pebbles, sand from the beach, and jute, adding depth and connection to the location.
