Our roots run deep. This painting represents the city of Sherbrooke, where I grew up. So many happy memories came back while I was creating this piece. Within the painting you’ll find a blackbird, the city’s symbolic bird, a tax bill from the school board as well as the emblem of the University of Sherbrooke, my alma mater.
