He doesn’t own a car so he gets around on a BIXI or by public transit. He reads LE PLATEAU newspaper as well as other local publications. This guy is down to earth. In fact he wears earthy tones very well like shades of brown, gray, beige, rust as well as a variety of reds and blues to compliment these colours. Fleurs sur méditerranée - 20” x 28” – Acrylic and mixed media on canvas. This floral arrangement with a perched dove was inspired by several paintings of this style that I painted in the past. This time, the flowers composed of pink, salmon and purple tones harmonize very well with the light blue sky shimmering on the calming turquoise of the Mediterranean Sea. Between the layers of paint, you will find newspaper articles, crossword puzzles as well as comics of our famous Quebec cartoonist Michel Rebagliati.  - 24” X 18” – Acrylic and mixed media on canvas. This eccentric swimmer was inspired by my series of “sunfish” which I love to paint over and over again. As most of you know, I have a bias toward this fish species that most despise. I have always been captivated by its vivid colours sparkling in the sunlight.
