BIG GIRLS NEED BIG DIAMONDS – 36″ X 48″ – Acrylic and mixed media on wood

Born in 1932, Elizabeth Taylor left quite a legacy behind her.  Other than her extensive diamond collection (see her quote: BIG GIRLS NEED BIG DIAMONDS).  The lady with violet eyes played in over 60 movies during her career.  Please find on the painting “Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf” for which she won an Oscar in 1967. She got married 8 times (8 X) with 7 men, twice with Richard Burton (discover her 7 husbands on the hand of the star).  Also, notice the name of the hotel Casa Kimberley that had been the majestic residence of Mrs. Taylor and Richard Burton.  A place that we love going to each time we travel to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  On her left cheek, you will perceive her biography and on her neck, some 1949 newspaper articles found between the walls of an old Montreal triplex.
