IMAGINE – 28” X 50” – Acrylic and mixed media on wood
In a world marked by war and divisions between peoples, cultures, religions, and identities, this work stands as a symbol of hope.
Through the layers of paint emerge comforting words and symbols that invite a smile.
I titled this piece “IMAGINE,” a reference to the famous song by John Lennon that speaks of the hope for a better world, where differences become a source of richness rather than division.
Textures: burlap, magazine clippings and cartoons from the 1940’s, etc.
